Day 1: Arrival in Amman
Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport. Transfer to your Amman hotel. Evening orientation walk through Rainbow Street and downtown. Dinner at a traditional Jordanian restaurant. Overnight Amman.
Day 2: Amman and Jerash
Morning drive north to Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman provincial cities in the world. The colonnaded streets, temples and theatres are extraordinary. Return to Amman afternoon. Visit the Citadel and Roman Theatre. Overnight Amman.
Day 3: Dead Sea, Madaba and Mount Nebo
Drive south to Madaba for the famous 6th century mosaic map of the Holy Land. Continue to Mount Nebo with its sweeping views across the Jordan Valley. Afternoon at the Dead Sea – float in the mineral-rich waters. Overnight Dead Sea.
Day 4: Drive to Petra via Kings Highway
Take the scenic Kings Highway south, passing Kerak Crusader Castle and dramatic canyon landscapes. Arrive Petra late afternoon. Evening at leisure in Wadi Musa. Overnight Petra area.
Day 5: Petra Full Day
Full day in Petra: the Siq, the Treasury, the Street of Facades, the Colonnaded Street, the Qasr al-Bint temple. Afternoon option for Petra by Night if available. Overnight Petra area.
Day 6: Petra Monastery and Wadi Rum
Morning: climb to the Monastery – 850 steps, extraordinary views. Drive south to Wadi Rum. Afternoon jeep tour of the desert. Dinner at Bedouin camp. Overnight Wadi Rum.
Day 7: Wadi Rum Dawn and Departure
Wake before dawn for sunrise over the desert. Optional hot air balloon flight. Drive north to Amman for afternoon or evening flight home.
